How We Started…

In the summer of 1985, Keith Ketcher, founder of Lawn Ketchers Inc., started mowing several neighbors’ yards for additional income on top of a full-time meat grocery position. This step was in lieu of the new addition to his family of already three children.  As the years passed, Keith continued to work full-time and care for more yards in the neighborhood. Twelve years later, this small step of mowing a few yards turned into a company that was incorporated in 1997.

Fast forward eighteen years and the company has now turned in to a full-sized small business being co-owned and managed by Adam Ketcher, Keith’s son, and Kristofor Enlund.  Both worked as crew members, then team leads for Lawn Ketchers in their high school years and part time through college.  After earning their degrees in business management and psychology, respectfully, they came back to Lawn Ketchers but this time to purchase the company.  Since the acquisition, Kris and Adam have used their experience in the field of their younger years and the knowledge gained in their schooling to consistently grow Lawn Ketchers year after year and are excited for the years to come.

Lawn Ketchers Inc. has now become a well-known property maintenance and landscape company servicing over 300 properties in the Twin Cities Metro Area. As we have grown, our company still believes in our founder’s practice of the basic American virtues: hard work, determination and the importance of creating strong, trusting relationships.  We see these virtues as the basis of success and this philosophy is instilled throughout the company from its divisional leaders down to its crew members.  This philosophy has earned us the following accreditation:
